Never mind the weather, Summer is here!
We’ve spruced up our Lunch and Dinner menus to reflect the new season. As well as some classic dishes, our Head Chef, Gareth Naughton, has also devised a few new & exciting dishes that are sure to please.
Take his Fresh Dublin Bay Prawns cooked with wild garlic, white wine, dill & sourdough (available as a starter or main), or the crowd pleasing Chicken liver & foie gras parfait offered with onion chutney, brioche & truffle dressed watercress.
Other highlights from the lunch menu include an 8oz Fillet Hereford Steak for those looking for a hearty Lunch (comes with onion rings, béarnaise sauce & fries), Truffled Goats Cheese with peaches, fig & macadamia nut (pictured) and for something sweet, get stuck into our Asian Fruit Eton Mess with white chocolate, passion fruit mousse, Malibu cream coconut sorbet & Asian fruit salad.
We’ve kept a few Lunch classics on there for diners looking for a quick, good value lunch. Our Summer Salad with Chicken, quinoa, feta, broccoli & sesame is sure to set you up for the day, the classic Caesar salad with juicy roast chicken & Parmesan croutons, and a fresh take on the traditional Chowder: Pan roasted langoustines, cod, mussels, scallops, with a dill chowder sauce. But of course some things needn’t be disturbed which is why we’ve kept our customer favourites; the Suesey Street Burger with Hegarty’s cheddar and smoked Gubeen bacon and our roasted Cod which comes with Salt cod brandade, broccoli & brown shrimp.
And for Dinner, our Chef has taken some well known ingredients and paired them with some unexpected flavours like his Suckling Pig Belly (from the Early Bird) served with Confit Squid, Pineapple, Puy Lentil, Roscoff Onion, Sea Beet and the Beef Tartare off the A La Carte accompanied with Nori Seaweed, Black Radish, Summer Truffle & Japanese Vinegar. And for our vegetarian diners, his Asparagus with Herb Gnocchi, Marinated Feta, Girolles and a good dose of Summer Truffle is sure to be a pleaser!
