Bringing the swing back to Saturday nights, Suesey Street now have a resident jazz singer every Saturday from January 13th to February 24th (excluding January 20th). The perfect location for an evening of jazz, the clubby feel in our basement bar and dining room is ideal for hosting highly acclaimed artist Stella Bass each Saturday from 7 pm to 10 pm.
The Dublin born Bass is a stalwart of the Dublin jazz scene, singing with the Hot House Big Band, she has also recorded with the Dublin City Jazz Orchestra, and is in to her 8th year with her own quartet’s Sunday residency in Dublin’s Café en Seine with All About Jazz saying “Bass is a class act…her voice possesses soul, swing and pizzazz”.
Having previously performed at the National Concert Hall, the RBS Six Nations, the Ryder Cup @ the K Club and the Heineken Cup, Stella will bring her repertoire of popular jazz classics to Suesey Street as diners enjoy the a la carte menu designed by head chef, Richard Stearn.
Adding to our hugely successful Friday night supper club with music from Sonic Tolfa, Suesey Street is quickly becoming the place to go for fine food with a side of sophisticated live music. Diners can enjoy a classic cocktail at the bar, choose to dine indoors or on the heated outdoor terrace and will be in the safe hands of Ireland’s best-known Maître d’, John Healy.
