Irish Asparagus Season

Giving Irish asparagus its moment in the spotlight this season, we’re offering guests a special asparagus menu for the month of May to pay homage to this distinct delicacy during the short Irish growing season.

Along with his usual elegant menus at lunch and dinner, Chef Richard Stearn will showcase the freshest and finest Irish stems with this special menu featuring four showcase dishes celebrating delicious Irish asparagus sourced from Rush, a small seaside town in Fingal, North Dublin.

For starters, guests will be served a choice of asparagus soup or poached asparagus with crispy duck egg and hollandaise sauce before a pan seared fillet steak with asparagus wrapped in bacon or pappardelle pasta with asparagus and summer truffle for main course.
